2013 267bhs. A/C

I have a 2013 jay flight 267 BHS. I upgraded to the 15k A/C unit. While the unit is running in either high or low cool it sounds like the fan motor slows down when the compresser kicks in. Is this normal. I spoke to a parts manager at a rv dealer who said the new Coleman units have a larger condenser which causes this.

Any thoughts
Thanks

The AC on our '12 does the same thing. Dealer also said it was normal. We have had it a year now and no issues so far.
