2014 287BHBE shower leak

After the shower is used I have noticed water on the floor outside the shower. Specifically, in the front corner behind the toilet.
I'm thinking it has something to do with the design of the shower wall, there's a small gap between the wall material and the tub.

Anyone else experienced this issue?

Yes. I used a waterproof adhesive to secure a thin vinyl strip on tthe top of the tub. I was able to squeeze it into the opening of the tub surround wall and it has stopped water from getting on the floor. I bought the material at a Home Depot.

I have the exact same issue when the trailer leans to the slide out side at all. Have not figured out a fix yet. Perfectly level or leaning the other way I dint think it does it. Considering caulking this gap all of the way around.

The tub has a upper lip that extends about 4 inches up the wall and then the tub surround walls overlap that tub lip, leaving a little space. At the top of the tub surround wall there is a gap as well, the gap is to help any condensation to evaporate from between the TT wall and the tub surround walls.
What I found out was the water from the shower was running along the top of the tub and in the front, where the shower curtain is, it ran onto the TT floor.
I went to Home Depot and found in the lumber section some vinyl strips that were thick enough for me to fit into the gap between the top of the tub and the bottom of the tub surround. I cut it to length and then glued it down.
I did all this in July 2010 and it has solved my problem.
Other members have mentioned using corner guards but the corner guards do dot get into the gap where the top of the tub and the tub surround wall meets.

We had this issue as well (in the exact same trailer!) but it was water at the back corner... in any event we took it back to the dealer (not for this, but had other issues so we just tacked this one on) and they added some more sealant to the door area.

What's that called? It looks like a plastic corner shelf. I need it for my trailer. Thanks

Meant to complete that repair this past weekend and forgot. Back to the store. I plan to buy the corner piece, what are you guys talking about the thick piece of vinyl? Any pics or anything?

Water Leak in B/R

Those gaps are engineered to let any water that gets behind the top of the wall escape into the tub. Don't suspect that is the source of your leak. Bought my 2009 in Feb 2010 and have not had any water leak issues in the bath
room. My dealer told me not to caulk the gaps. Took his word. Would think Jayco customer service would clear this up.

This is what we used on our last TT. That was the fix that worked really well. It also has a clip to tuck the shower curtain into.

I just plan to add that angle piece to both corners and caulk the gap right behind it so to keep the water in the tub, I am not going to caulk the whole gap

Our shower in a Whitehawk 26SRK leaked in the exact same place, right by the toilet. Talked to the dealer and got that puzzled look, like they had never heard of this leak before.

I asked about caulking the seam where the sides meet the base and was told to go ahead. Hasn't leaked since. Found some beige silicone at the local Menards and while I was at it, I applied a thin layer of caulk to each of the drive rivets that hold the shower sides to the wall, as well as the top and sides of the faucet control base. The silicone matches perfectly.

I just installed the corner guards this weekend like $4 at Home Depot. Caulked the corner and done. Will see if it helps this weekend
