2014 28bhbe speaker question??
Last summer we purchase a 2014 28BHBE, it has the TV that swivels into the front bedroom. My question is, is there a way to get the sound to play either only out of the front speakers or only out of the TV while watching movies? We have tried adjusting everything that we can think of so any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Usually adjusting the BAL/FADE can do that. On mine, there are speakers A and B, and that's inside and outside (I think A is inside and B is outside) and either BAL or FADE adjustment can change the output to either all A, or all B, or a combination of both.
The other function (either BAL or FADE) will do the same sort of thing but between front and rear speakers both inside and outside of the trailer.

The Jensen unit in my camper has A,B and C. A- being the living room area, B- being the bedroom and C- being outside. Look on the front of your unit and you should see these letters with buttons beneath them to control where you want the sound.

This was the way the head unit in my BHBE was set up too.
I checked it VERY often because I was absolutely petrified of having the outside speakers on accidentally.

Update, after pulling the camper out of storage we wanted to try again and there are no speakers in the front bedroom. However, we still can’t get audio out of just the TV for watching movies with the sound only in the bedroom. Any ideas??

Look thru the menu of the tv, look at the sound settings and go thru the speaker options. Prob something like internal speaker.

We have tried what seems like every setting possible and it will only come out of the speakers in the camper. We even tried a different TV and had the same result.

Have you tried disconnecting all cable from back except the cable and power?
Are you using the built in DVD player? If so I don’t think you can switch the audio, unless you use your own standalone DVD player.

I have tried every cable configuration possible. Yes, we are using the built in DVD player. My wife brought up possibly using a separate DVD player for the bedroom when we turn the TV around so that may be our solution. Thanks for the suggestion.

Can you get the TV sound to work when you're NOT using a DVD? Like when using the OTA antenna input?
It's entirely possible that the Jensen's sound output is not connected to the TV's sound input. And they didn't use HDMI back then, so it's all component cables. But if you switch the TV source to antenna and pickup an OTA broadcast channel, there should be sound out of the TV?
TBH, I don't remember ever even trying to use the TV's stand alone audio in my BHBE? But that's reaching back a few years, and I have a bad case of CRS recently.
