2014 Jayco Eagle

So I saw a 2014 Eagle 314bds. The are almost the same as the 2013. They have more black trim and the awning is black. But the thing I liked most was the slam latch doors on the storage compartments. Inside they replaced the light over the dinette with a more flush style light. The electric tounge jack also comes with a built in level or bubble that's cool. Think it may be a little darker brown then mine on the outside ,not sure. Anyway Jaycos Rock.

Do you like your 2013? Any problems with it?

I googled that and the first search site that came up was the dealer we bought our Eagle from. They were excellent in dealing with us. I noticed the 314bds retains two features I dislike. The bottom style coupler wouldn't take a Reese WDH easily, and all the underbelly storage is in the front, adding to Jayco's typical high percentage tongue weight. I couldn't find numbers for this model other than dry weight of just under 8000#, but if the TW is 15% to start with, the WDH and everything that goes into storage runs the load on the ball up in a hurry. Ours even has a full width clothes closet in the very front of the bedroom, so our 1400# bars are maxed out even before I put anything in the storage areas. But maybe that is just the penalty we pay for getting a TT that probably should have been a fiver in the first place. Otherwise, we have no complaints with our 320RLDS. Oh, well, maybe one. They should have installed idiot proof door steps.
