2014 jayflight 22FB air conditioning problem??

hello all, well we have had this trailer about a year now and this is the first time I went to use the air and everything seems to be working but when I put the thermostat to the coldest it the air cond. doesn't seem to be getting cold, I can put the fan on and then turn the air on and it seems like the compressor don't kick on?? I checked the breaker and fuses, has anyone had any issues with there air??
