2015 Jay Flight 33RLDS Door Problem

We have a Jay Flight 2015 33RLDS Travel Trailer. The problem I am having is that the door is REALLY hard to close. The bracket where the catch slides into is hitting to far back on the flat spot on the catch, instead of on the curved spot(towards the end). Is there a way to adjust the button or catch so it is hitting more towards the end of the catch where is is tapered. It was all right when we first got it. Tks for the replies in advance.

Adjusting the plate, good lubricate, and leveling of the unit all play a role in the doors opening and closing. Check them all and hopefully that takes care of your problem. If it was working before, something must have gotten out of adjustment.
