2016 33 RSKS kitchen faucet leak

After fixing leaking connection in the water line on the bathroom toilet, just loose fitting, discovered a leak under island kitchen sink. Even though the flange nut under sink was loose it was not the source. Traced leak to the cold water handle where it has a steady drip near connection under the handle. There is a threaded fitting and the pex connection just underneath it. Not sure where it is coming from? dripping down cold water line onto floor. Tried to tighten it gently while hooked up to city water but extremely difficult to reach or get any fingers on. Seemed to get a little worse when trying to grab line and connection. We have been camping for last 3 weeks in upstate New York and heading back to Texas Thursday. Would like to fix myself before leaving. Any help would be appreciated. Easier way to reach these fittings? do not see any shut offs for the kitchen sink.

I just changed my kitchen faucet and found no cutoff valves. In your second picture where the 2 pipes come thru the counter, is that connection where the drip is? If so, It looks like the crimp It could be re-crimped, replaced with another one or a sharkbite fitting. You could add a 1/4 turn valve under the sink or just shut off water source outside.

Sorry about pics, took them with new Iphone. Been reading about the sideway images with new phone. The leak seems to coming from either the female threaded connection or the crimp connection at top of water line going into the cold handle.

It almost sounds like the threaded connection may be cross-threaded to the faucet and not seated correctly. Either that or the gasket inside the threaded connection is missing or askew. Askew...new word for the day

Thanks skip. Was thinking of disconnecting city water and releasing pressure and try to get my hand under the island sink far enough to back off connection and retighten. bad angle for sure...
