2016 Jay Flight 23MB

Hi all,

New to Jayco and new here. Just ordered a 23MB today and have owned travel trailers in the past. In prep for our delivery hoping to get a few questions answered.

- Anyone know the size of the hitch ball required?
- Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the interior of the cabinets on each side of the Murphy beds?

Any other useful info or tips would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

Congrats on the soon-to-be-your trailer!

Usually the trailers over 20' use 2 5/16" balls, but until you have the trailer in your possession, it's all conjecture.

Worse with cabinet dimensions. They are designed to fill the spaces between the finished walls and the bed.

You'll have to wait for delivery and measure the ones you own. Somebody else will measure the same make/model/year as yours. And could be up to an inch different.

Wait for delivery.
Find the sticky about the PID and make sure all is OK before towing it off the dealer's lot.

If you are getting a weight distributing hitch with it, it probably comes with its own ball.

My 10,000lb. Equalizer did not come with the ball so I ordered a 2 5/16" ball also. Maybe they have a kit type option now but years ago did not.
Happy RVing,
Jeff
