2016-jayco-eagle-314bhds
We are about to buy a 2016 leftover model. Any thoughts/comments or issues anyone has had with this travel trailer? We are not new to campers we had a keystone passport 3220BH for the last 5 years. I feel like the jayco eagle is a nice upgrade for us. Thanks

I used to pull the JayFlight version of this trailer, 32BHDS, and I can tell you to watch your tongue weight. I pulled mine with a 2500 Ram CC 4x4 W/6.4L Hemi 4.10 gearing and the hitch weight was easily upwards of 1400LBS loaded. I now pull a Eagle HT 324 and with the same stuff in the front compartment it is around 1200LBS and I have yet to optimize my loading. Good luck, its a great floor plan.
One thing to watch out for on that model, the black water flush back flow preventer is located under the hallway wardrobe, keep an eye on that as mine leaked on our first trip out and I had to pull a finishing panel off to be able to access location of the BFP.

I have the same in a 2015. I pull with a 2015 chevy DURAMAX. It pulls great and has been a good TT. Some minor stuff but that's camping for u. Good luck and enjoy

spread axles vs. standard
Does anyone have any experience (or thoughts) about the standard axle spacing on this unit VS the "spread axles" which are customary to Keystone products (Such as my passport). It seems like the spread axles were on alot of units, but now many of the brands are going back to the standard axle spacing -- any thoughts? Thanks.

We just traded our 2013. Ours trailered nice and we had no issues. Going to miss the outside sink, in that our new 5th wheel doesn't have one. Best thing I liked about it was the swivel tv to the bedroom.
