2016 Jayco Travel Trailers

Looks like Jayco put all the 2016 travel trailers live on their website: Travel Trailers | Jayco, Inc.

Nice to finally see all the details beyond the sheets that floated around for the last few months.

No problem here. While we would like a third slide, we've yet to find a floor plan we like as much as our discontinued one. Might have to check to see if it's back, though. And the thought of switching all that stuff!

We have been waiting to order an Eagle for the last few months and had checked on the site off and on for a month or so and wouldn't you know it the last 2016 trailer they put up is the Eagles.

Hopefully ours sells soon so we can get the new one coming.

Just checked out the 2016 26RKS to compare with our 2015, no change, as far as I can see, but I did find an interesting stat on the specs. Fresh water capacity = 44 gal. Fresh water capacity including water heater = 82 gal. WOW a 38 Gal water heater. You bet!!! If Jayco people read this, they may want to correct...

No, no. My DW requested that. She sends her thanks, Jayco.

Anyone else notice on the Jayflights they seem to be a few hundred pounds heavier than the 2015's? Any idea what change would have added the weight?

My 29BHDS increased by about 400lbs dry and 100lbs tongue (at least according to the site). Checked a few other models, they seem to be similar increases.

I am thinking maybe the nose profile change would add some weight, and the porcelain vs plastic toilet. Tire was moved from undermount to rear which should reduce tongue weight but still not coming up with 400lbs.

Jayco has added 40 gallon water heater???? That makes up for some added weight.
