First trip and I just realized there is no orange security light at the main door. There is an orange light under the steps, but they go off when you turn off the awning led. Either they forgot to put a light in, or wired the LED awning light to the step entrance light which should be on separate switches. Thoughts?

They do not install them if you have LED awning lights. We didn't get one with our 2014 Eagle. We ended up installing an outside light to have when the LED lights go out. It was one of the best mods we have done.

Would be nice if you had the option of changing the white led to orange for night.

My thoughts? Congratulations on your new Whitehawk and welcome to the forum.

But, regarding the light by the steps, as I recall mine is like yours - no switch and are on or off with the awning lights.

My 2015 33rsks has the orange light under the steps.it comes on and off with awning lights.it should be on a separate switch.
