2017 28DSBH Front Cap Weight

Thinking about ordering a '17 28DSBH. All the ones we looked at had the front molded cap. Just curious if anyone knows how much this cap weighs? Was contemplating ordering the rig without the cap to save on tongue weight. Any thoughts?

The cap is fiberglass, blown into a mold. I doubt it's any heavier than the glass/plywood - foam - plywood sandwich that makes up the standard, curved front cap. It may even be lighter.

Is the cap mounted over the standard front wall, or does it replace the wall entirely? I always thought it was mounted over the wall, but I may be wrong....

I ordered this cap because it looks better. Is there any other reason to order this option? Is this more aerodynamic?

TTs are so aerodynamically poor that a molded cap isn't really going to help, and I doubt the V-nose ones help, either. I don't think the cap goes over a standard front cap, but I honestly don't know. My new one has it too, but I'm not sure you could tell by looking.
