You won't "drop 4.10s in it" if it's a 4x4. Don't forget about the front end.

Post 2007 the tranny got so computerized that most driveline shops will encourage you to change trucks before changing gears.

Not to mention the engine programming will be thrown off-kilter if you change rear end ratios. Unless it's moderate, even a tire size change can do that.
