2017 Jayco Eagle 314BHDS

Hey guys,
New to this place, and need some help. I have a Jayco Eagle 2017 that I installed LED’s down both sides. I grounded them. When I got done, I had to hook it up to the truck to take it back to storage, but when I did, I have no running lights. I have brake lights, and turn signals work, but no running lights. Any ideas? I was thinking I popped a fuse when I hooked up the LED’s to the ground, but if so, not sure where to check. Thanks in advance.

Led lights are polarity sensitive. Make sure ground is to ground and power to power.

I did run the power to the battery with an inline fuse, and the grounds to the ground on the frame. Should I just ground them to the negative terminal on the battery?

The only fuse for the running lights is in the tow vehicle they are not fused in the trailer.

Photo, read Sho’s post carefully. LED’s have a + and - side and won’t light if reversed. If you have another LED touch the leads to the batt to verify which lead is which. Next verify that one of your lamps is correct by checking the polarity at the lamp. Grounding to the frame should be ok but you can verify with a VOM. How were the original lights connected?

The LED’s were connected running two sets of 16.4 ft on each side running straight to the battery, and grounded to the frame.

What color was the wire on the LED's that you grounded to the frame? Should be the black one, the red one is the + one. Make sure the red one is hooked to the + of the battery.

Rereading your post your question is not about your LED's, but about the factory running lights. If so I would use a test light at the truck and check to see if you have power at the socket.

I went to the trailer,
And
Checked all fuses just to be sure. Disconnected the LED’s, and connected to the truck, and still no running lights. A fuses on the inverter were hood,
And no breakers on the inverter were tripped either, so I’m thinking it must have popped something in the truck maybe?

Not sure what make and model your truck is. But check the fuses in the fuse box in the engine compartment. I blew one on my 2016 f250 sounds almost the same thing happened

It’s a 2011 F250 XLT 4x4 with the 6.7. I’ve checked all fuses, and replaced just to rule it out. Really stumped.

You could use a test light at the truck connection it would tell you if the problem is in the truck or trailer.
