2017 Jayco Jayflight 28BHSW electrical hookup

Just purchased above Travel Trailer and I have a few questions.

1 Electrical cord. I just realized I don't know where the electrical cord is. I don't have possession (picking up later) so I can't go look and we didn't go over it. My Jayco Greyhawk 26DS had it in a compartment with a cable attached. I don't remember seeing a cable anywhere in the RV or any compartment door. Any information? Do I need to buy a cable?

Also portable heaters. We used a small portable heater to keep us warm in our MH when hanging out. The Travel Trailet is much bigger and will probably need two. But can a 30 amp connection handle that? I figure most circuits are 20 amp so that won't handle it, but if I find 2 outlets on different 20 amp circuits?

Congratulations on the new trailer. Are you buying this from a dealer and will you be conducting a PDI (PreDelivery Inspection)?

The cord to plug into 'shore power' is often in the center at the rear of the trailer in a round door. Open the door and pull out the male plug with the cord attached.

If your trailer has standard 30amp service, then 30amps will be your limit no matter which circuit breakers they are on. If you have 50amp service, then you should be able to use 2, 20amp heaters in different circuits.

Your trailer will have a propane furnace for heat. The furnace and blower require 12v, but if you are connected to shore power, that will keep your battery charged.

You might be surprised what a nice electric heater can do. We have a stand up electric heater with a digital thermostat, we set it at 74 and leave it. It can heat our 27' TT quickly and maintains the temp. The only thing we have to do is open the bathroom door to keep that heated as well.

I have that exact trailer (2015), the electrical is on the back right corner (driver side) just after the hot water heater.
I'm in Eastern Canada and can heat the trailer with a small infrared heater pretty well for cooler fall days. We'll actually be taking it out this weekend and will rely on that as the main heat source.

If it's really cold I'll run the furnace for 10 minutes when we get to the site and then switch to electric. I find it helps get the dampness out

Thanks Craig. Kind of funny, I was there when they hooked it up but was checking out other things. We inspected about every inch of it, even measured AC and heat output. But when I got home ( picking it up later) I realized I had no idea where the electrical hookup was. I don't remember noticing any other compartment doors.

Good to know about the heater. Maybe ours just isn't adequate. We use electrical heat during the evening when it is just a little cool then fire up the furnace in the morning to heat up the RV ( now trailer).
