2018 23RBM, water tank does not fill up

The specs. Say my trailer holds 42 gal. I put in about 32 and it starts coming out the overflow tube. Drains about 2 gals out. Gage shows 1/3 full.
Your help is needed

The contents of the lines and the water heater are included in the fresh water capacity.

Ok, good to know. Why would the gauge only show 1/3

The first things I'd look at are the sensor wires underneath. They're very tiny, like telephone wire, and can corrode, or get broken off the tank sensors. Often times, they're not secured well, and can get caught on something, or wiggle back and forth, and break off. Just a place to start looking.

Don't let those gauges mess up your camping trips enjoyment.

My fresh water gauge always shows full. I had it fixed once. Now I don't worry about it.

If it shows 1/3, it is more than 1/3 but less than 2/3.

If it over flows the tank is most likely full.
Dont trust the gage.
