Just now went on the Camping World website, and their replacement trailer doors are priced anywhere from $650 to over $900. Amazon is a little cheaper but it may be more difficult to make sure you get the correct door from them. With a little research, you can probably find better pricing. But in any case, a replacement door is going to cost a lot of money.

Given the expense of replacing the entire door, I think I would either live with what I had or try to repair the door myself.

If it were mine I think I'd use the product Tunce the Traveler recommended. Remove the window and door latch assembly, cut the sheet to fit precisely within the frame and glue it on with 3M Super 77 adhesive (glue on both the door and plastic sheet. Then trim out the excess where the latch hardware and window are.

My 2017 has some similar cracking. Will be interested to see results of anyone who replaces the material.

Took ours to the dealer. Of course, the extended 7-year warranty we purchased does not cover this. The dealer did go to bat for us and try to get Jayco to cover. They sent them to the door manufacturer which says the 'warranty has expired on the door'. We tried to get the door manufacture to sell us the skin, but no luck. Wouldn't it be great if we could go back to a time when people had integrity and did what was right? Obviously, something is wrong for this door to do this. The glue sounds like the problem, not expanding when exposed to the heat. So shouldn't someone be responsible? We too will look at replacing the skin. Please share anyone who successfully does it! (And share mistakes from anyone who isn't successful)! Have a great day and happy camping!

My Jayco was two years new. Obvious defect. They don't care about the customer, only about the dollar.

We have a 2018 Jay Flight with the exact same problem. Has anyone actually done this repair?

Atwood? Or a dealer?

I started a new thread about this recently before I found this one. Just checking for any updates or anyone who has repaired it themselves. My 2018 has the same cracking as these. It seems to involve TTs in the 2017-2018 range. And I’m seeing a lot of owners in hotter regions. Possible common denominators? Thanks!

Our 2017 Hummingbird door (inside) just cracked too! Was thinking to fill cracks and cover with peel and stick-ugh!
