2018 Jayco Jay Flight 24RBS
Taking delivery of a new 24RBS tomorrow. Trading in our Jayco Octane 222.
Any 24RBS owners out there that have any advice or suggested upgrades for this particular model?
We really like the floor plan.
Thanks.
Mike

Ours is a 2017 so maybe some things have changed.
Separate the awning light and step light.
Install dimmers on awning lights and main interior lights.
Change bathroom faucet.
I think I will be changing outside sink faucet soon as well, assuming I can find something slightly taller that will still clear the shelf above the pull out.

Thanks. Was separating the step lights and awning lights difficult?

Very simple the way mine was wired. All the wiring I needed to separate the two lights and put dimmers in was behind the control panel.

Nismo, did you install the dimmers in place of the regular switches in the control panel, same size? What was your source on the Dimmers?

24 RBS is a great floor plan. I gave it serious consideration at first, but ultimately decided I didn't want a slide. Hence, the 23RB.

Vent Cover in bathroom
Screens on all appliance vents
Stackable Storage drawers from Walmart in bedroom closets and bathroom.
Open stackable bins for cabinets over couch
TBD
Split under bed storage, improve bed support, separate bed storage from pass through
Replace mattress
Doug

We love our 24rbs. We did change the bathroom faucet and the thermostat. We put in a digital thermostat. It's more accurate. Also, my husband built 2 shelves in the bathroom wardrobe. When you open the wardrobe door, the shelves are back up on the right. It made that storage much more functional.

If you have the outdoor kitchen watch for leaks at the faucet connections.
This thread will give you ideas how to solve the problem.
