2018 on order

Who has ordered a 2018? When did you order it? When did they tell you when you will receive it?

I'm also interested to see if anyone's dealer has shared the 2018 model year changes yet. I know I saw floating around here somewhere a model year change document from a previous year that was released in April of that year. Sitting and anxiously waiting for the floorplan additions & deletions.

Check out HaylettRV.com, I was at the dealer last week and they have many 2018 models on the lot. They have many videos on Youtube of the new models, maybe what your looking for.

I ordered a 2018 Jay Feather 23BHM. We wanted one with a light colored interior, which in 2017 was called "Meadow". Couldn't find one - for some reason all the interior colors we saw were "Granola", which is dark brown. We also couldn't find a model with the configuration we wanted so we ordered. I can't say what will be different; the "Meadow" interior is now called "Desert" and is a little lighter but we don't know anything else. I tried contacting Jayco and they were nice, but nobody I talked to knew any more than I did. Guess it just will be what will be.

Haylett's website sucks, by the way

I'm not seeing any videos or pics of 2018 Jayco travel trailers or 5W's online, but there does appear to be some 2018 class C's out there already. April/May is the general new model announcement time.

What two dealers told me: we were ready to buy about a month ago and would have bought off the lot but for the fact we couldn't find the interior color we (my wife) preferred. So we asked if Jayco had one in Indiana and calls were placed to sales reps, and what we learned from those calls is that Jayco didn't have our model in their lot stock, that they were finished with 2017 production, and they were ready to start on 2018's. The sales rep for the dealer we chose told our salesman to get our order in NOW, like today, so we would be in the first production run of our model (we had already agreed on price and had sent off a deposit to the dealer, expecting to wait as long as September, so I don't believe "the old sales pitch" was involved). Now we've been told to expect Jayco to deliver our trailer by early-to-mid June, perhaps even late May. So as far as having information on changes they are making (if any) we're just as blind as everyone else. Two things we do know per Jayco are that our floor plan will be made this year, and the interior color has changed its name. The dealer assumed a 2% price increase, and because we pre-ordered we're capped at that figure (if the increase is less the dealer says we will pay the lower figure - hahahahahaha!!). Anyways, you are probably right - we'll likely actually see the 2018's by April or May.

I just ordered an 18'

I have no idea what the changes if any are going to be on the 18' but, I ordered one last week 317 rlok eagle. I heard (rumor) the cap was going to change a little bit but, that is all I know.
I was told to expect it into my dealer in mid-June.

How did you get a build date? Was it from your dealer or did you call Jayco? I'd like to have a date I can look forward to.

When I ordered my 2017 in April of 2016, it was the dealer who provided me a build date soon after placing my order.

Rodro, congrats on the new camper. Now the hard part.... waiting lol.

We have a 2017 White Hawk 28 DSBH on order that has a build date of 5/1/17. I think this may be the last run of 2017 28 DSBH's or maybe a 2018? So close to the model year changeover I'm just not sure what's going to arrive.

Update. Still no build date but I did receive a Jayco release that details changes from 17 to 18 model yr for 5th wheels. No pics just descriptions. If anyone has a 5th wheel ordered and has a specific question I'll do my best to respond.

There are quite a few but I'll summarize. New interior color Chestnut replaces Meadow. Shiplap wood around fireplace replaces faux stone. New maple hardwood door profile. New Shaw residential carpeting. Newly designed aerodynamic Silver Eagle high gloss cap with specialty LED lighting. Updated friction hinge doors, upgraded dump valves. New custom axle sizing, new LED fireplace. This is a partial list. I'm sorry I know no details. I'm told the exterior color is unchanged.

Also upgraded solid surface countertops, new Furrion sound bar, too much more to detail but it all looks good.
