2019 White Hawk 23MRB

I saw this trailer online and I am really interested in this floor plan.

I've done a ton of searches here but can't find the answer although the information about this model was VERY helpful so thank you for that.

I'm wondering if anyone has the 2019 model and can tell me if the bed is a one-piece mattress or two pieces. It is hard to tell from the picture I saw. It looks like it is two pieces and they might have had to do that in order to free up the front pass-thru storage.

I can't get to the dealer until next weekend so thought I would ask all you friendly people here!

Thank you in advance,
Laura

We have the 24mbh and love it. It’s a split mattress that allows the bed to fold up and down. The split/seam is about 20” from the top. This allows us to keep 6 Queen size pillows on the bed when we fold it up. Having the split also allows for the full pass through storage to be used with out any interference from the bed.
We didn’t notice the seam while sleeping on it but did end up putting a 1” memory foam on there as well.
Hope this helps.

Laura,

It appears to be a one piece mattress in this video at 3:10.., can't tell if there is a split seam present. You can also see the mattress with the pass-thru door opened.

Thank you beyondblessed!

So, can you make up the bed with sheets and then fold it up or do you have to strip it in the morning and make it up every night? I get that you might have to rearrange the mattress but don't want to have to make the bed every night.

Thanks Bob. Yes the 2018 has the bed that goes into the middle of the pass thru. The 2019 doesn't. I need the pass thru storage so the 2018 won't work for me. It's a shame because the 2018's are all on sale right now.

Thanks again!

Nope. You can leave everything on it including a thin comforter. That was one of the big draws to this style. Another great feature about the 24mbh, when the slide is in, the bed can still come down with no issues, as well as get to the back. This is great if you traveling long distance and only need to stop for a rest, you won’t have to set up for the night.

Laura,

Oops, I thought the video was of a 2019 model Also noticed they changed the 2019 23MRB floorplan a little as well.

Here you go, check out the 2019 23MRB pics here (shows a split mattress):

Here’s a picture I just found of a 2019. You can see the seam/split in the picture if you zoom in a little.

We have the 2019 and like has already been determined it has a split mattress which I might add is very comfortable. We make the bed and just fold it up, works great.
