First time using the heater furnace in our unit and the ac fan also blowing. Is this normal? We have the Bmpro integrated system.

Not normal in my opinion. In the BM Pro you set the mode to AC, Fan only or heat. My AC fan has never come on with the heat.

Thus is specific to Bmpro module...there is no AUTO setting. That us why I had Bmpro in the post!

What unit do you have? Do you have the Bmpro integrated system?
From Jayco support:
"Yes it is... for air circulation purposes.
As a FYI - you will be able to turn this feature on/off after a future software release. Release date still TBD"

I sent Jayco several emails (different addresses)...another response:
"Good afternoon,
Thank you for your inquiry. That is normal and per design. It helps keep the unit at a constant temperature."

Also, congrats on your unit. We are full timers and absolutely love ours. Did you get the "no carpet"? Like that feature!

We were looking at the rsts model till we saw this one. We cook outside a lot so went with it. No carpet so that is a plus for sure. A lot of options on 2020 are standard on the 21 as well.
We like the dual hidden ac units. Both are ducted into the ceiling vents. Cools down in about 5 minutes once we set up.
Barring anything happening to it. I plan on this one being our last one.

Today's update ftom email to Jayco.....
Follow up question:
How come the 2021s are not that way?
From a new owner on Jayco Owner's Forum:
"2021 334 rlok. Bmpro system. Turned heat on in prep for trip. Only thing on was furnace blower. Nothing in the ceiling."
Jayco answer;
That is not correct. BM Pro is currently working on a update but as of now there is not one.

It is not the best....but nice to know it is not wiring or something else wrong....just a design fkw waiting for software fix. That being said we are able to maintain any temp we set it at.

Google winterizing whirlpool fridge. It is pretty straightforward. Disconnect ice maker water line. Take out filter. Run water side till nothing comes out. Let ice maker cycle till no ice is made.
That was it for fridge. I think it says not to use anti freeze.

I have a 2020 Eagle and have the same thing happening. For a temp fix the main AC has its own breaker which I turn off since it’s not serving any other lines in the unit. My unit is in the shop now for other things but that was on the list. I will let you know of a real fix if there is one.

This is a crazy response from Jayco. I have a 2018 Jayflight & it began doing the same thing after a year. I turn off the AC breaker when I need heat. Will address it at some point when I can leave the trailer at dealership for awhile.

Lorraine, I agree that this can’t be by design. If you sit on my couch you freeze you fanny off and walk a few feet towards the kitchen and it’s warm??????

We just took possession of our 2021 332CBOK and during the dealer walk through they told us this is normal. Only way to get around was turning off the AC breaker. They did say there is an expected software upgrade from BM Pro that will fix this.
