2020 Eagle HT 264BHOK Black Flush Valve Help

Hi! Big50RV here, newbie. We used it over the weekend. Did closed black tank sewage empty, then grey tank empties and lastly went to plug water rinse hose to black tank flush valve. It should have done a last rinse of that black tank but nothing happens. I see the hose swell and know the water hose is on. But nothing drains out of sewage hose...what am I missing? Even pulled out the manual as well. Followed same steps.

So did you had the black tank valve open when using the flush?

Hi! Yes we did leave black tank valve open because we were expecting to hear the water rinse thru the black tank then flow out. But it wouldn’t flow out. It’s like no water was going in at all. After a good bit of time we decided to close the black tank valve and we went inside and after a bit checked the levels but it never filled at all either. The water source was on though because you could see the water pressure swelling the hose when turned on. In the end we unhooked to the flush valve and kept black tank closed, hooking regular water source up. I stood in bathroom holding flush down inside, like flushing toilet to fill it again then we drained it so we could hit the road. But just don’t know why black flush outside wouldn’t work. It had been winterized, we camped straight from demo day. Demo technician showed us all but this one thing and he had filled the tank to demo draining it. But not black flush afterwards.

Only other easy thing I can think of is something blocking the screen on the hose port.

I agree. Just wondered if anyone else experienced this. We are 6 hrs away from purchase dealership so it will have to wait til next beach trip maybe in August. Unless anyone suggests something else.
Thx for your comments, appreciate the feed back!

Sounds like the rinse line is blocked somehow.

I’m pretty sure the black tank rinse line has a one-way check valve in it, to prevent contamination of the water supply. They are cheap valves and are notorious for failing. It may be stuck closed.

There may be a way to service or replace it, an access panel somewhere. Try to follow the rinse line if you can see it, or have the dealer check it.

The Keystone forum said that many of the valves got installed backwards. It is some sort of check valve -- antisyphine valve usually found in a bathroom cabinette.

Most likely the one way valve is installed backwards. From what I've seen, this is a common factory screw up. These are junk anyways. If you have or know anyone with pex tools, cut that section out and install a brass fitting. Should cost less than $20 for the whole project
