2020 Jayco 184bs baja roof vent experience
When replacing these things, one has loosen the screws inside first on the arm assembly. Unbeknownst to me, I lifted the flap and undid the outside attachment first. The plastic flap holder on the metal rod snapped off in a heartbeat! Now I had to order the lift part and the vent flap (which was already smote). This forum also gives me a chance to bring up all the other repairs I've made in 7 trips over 2 years just with this Jayco. Alot!! I understand these things are not quality built and the roads I travel are better suited for my F-150, but after I sell this piece of junk, I'm tent camping from now on. This is my 4th TT and every year they get worse. Also, no more whining from tent campers because of my generator. Good luck all.
