2021 267BHS - 3 nights near 28 degrees for lows...?

Hello,

We were lucky enough to get a 267BHS in May of this year, supposedly the last one available for quite a while. Anyways, we are planning to go up to Big Falls, Minnesota this coming weekend. (Oct 21-24).

Forecasts are showing below freezing (barely) in the evening, low 50's in the day time.

I have read several posts about people being perfectly ok in this situation, but wondering what other's experience have been (especially if you have this model type).

I would for sure just undo the hose at night to the water supply, and we will have electric and propane ready to go.

Thanks for your replies!
-Tony

Welcome aboard!

28 degree at night and 50 during the day is nothing to worry about . We do camp in much cooler weather than this most years. We do not have your tt model. Out htt does not have an enclosed underbelly. Coolest we have been is the low 20's. We do not have any tank heater. No issues.

Fill your FW tank full. The thermal mass will keep it from freezing. Hose, disconnect, drain, store in a cargo hold at night. If you leave it outside it will be frozen, and super stiff in the morning. If you have sewer connection, disconnect this too, or it will be full of frozen condensate.

This time of year, we tend to primarily use electric heat. So we just keep the cabinet doors ajar that have plumbing run through them. This allows a littmore heat back there.

Have fun.

We have a 267BH and we have been in snow/white out/sleet for a couple of days. We used a heated water hose and wrapped any exposed areas (hose connection to TT and faucet) with pipe wrap insulation. Did not have any problems.

Heater worked well and unit stayed comfortable.

If using propane furnace, take an extra tank from your bbq grill for a just in case…. Those furnaces burn thru propane pretty quickly, but will keep the trailer warm.

We camped in that temp last year for a couple days and went thru 1 30lb tank…. Including using it for cooking and water heater.
