2021 Jay Feather 25RB Question...

Trying to understand the Omni directional antenna. I receive no channels in parks where previously I had good reception using a directional bat-wing antenna.

Is the 2021 JF antenna amplified? My switcher wall plate has only one button to switch between cable and antenna. There is no booster button. Is there an amplifier built into the antenna itself?

I am considering buying a Weinguard amplifier, but it seems to require an UN-amplified antenna.

Any advice appreciated. Other threads have suggested my trailer has a Steiner antenna. As previous posters have stated, my unit has NO manual or other info on the antenna.

I'm surprised there's no manual included with your package. Perhaps, like so many, they want you to download it from their website like our cell phones. 400 pages of it.

You are correct have talked to Steiner Enterprises and there is no manual. Per their guru and to top it off they really don't offer a ton of information. It is a "diversity" antenna so they say. It has radio and tv capability but that is it. Now he said it works great in the lab for pulling in 30 mile away signals we that hasn't happened in my camping area. Basically if it was not so glued on with Dicor I would change it.

I have a 2021 also. Where the cable from the TV goes to the wall there are buttons " Cable or Antenna"
