2021 Jayco HT 284BHOK Auto Transfer Switch location

Today I wanted to see what was behind the front storage compartment docking center and noticed something that may need modification. For those of you that currently own a 2021 Jayco 284BHOK with the PD52 automatic transfer relay switch, it has been installed in a very odd location, right under the water pump and in an area where water can leak into the transfer switch. See pics attached.

Looking to relocate the transfer switch from that area or find an alternative plastic cover with airflow.

I don't have that in my 264BHOK. Was that an option or is it standard?

And yeah, I would want to move it too or put a waterproof shield over it.

I’m picking up mine in a few weeks. What is the auto transfer switch?

As per the literature included.
This transfer switch automatically changes from shore power to generator power when needed. Protects your electrical system from AC power backfeed.
Transfer switch automatically reroutes your RV's AC input from shore power to generator power when activated.
Can also be used with an inverter in place of a generator
Time delay function only allows one input to feed your RV's breaker panel at a time
Protects system from AC power backfeed

This is the main reason why I need to make this modification. I just saw this post for a 264bhok.

It is crazy to install water over electricity.

If the transfer switch cables are long enough, I would consider flipping the the switch and pump around.

As a temp solution, I have relocated the pump to the floor and left the switch in its current location. I will post additional pics once I have a permanent solution.
