Roku needs two things: a spare HDMI on the tv and internet. If either isn't available it won't work for you.

Lol...

1. Plug in Roku stick to HDMI port

2. Connect Roku stick to WiFi

3. Stream HULU

4. Grab a beer and relax

If by chance the tv is mounted where the HDMI port is not accessible IE my Entegra 25r outside TV. Get an HDMI extension, remove tv , insert extension, re mount TV
Easy peasy

I attached my ROKU dongle to the bottom of the tv with 2 sided tape. Cable to HDMI jack.

If you don't have an hdmi on the TV, you can get a hdmi to component adapter but it needs a power source. I used one of those when a lightning strike took out the hdmi modules in the TV in the house. I think it is 720 resolution which is better than my eye sight.

Guys I'm in the same boat when it comes to technology. I relied way too much on my boys when they were at home.

So with Roku do you have to buy a stick for each TV?

Jerry, If you can use the internet to stream with one Roku, you may or may not be able to stream simultaneously. It depends on the band width. You can take the roku device to different TVs as long as you use the same router.

Use the hot spot connection with your phone but make sure your phone plane has unlimited data.

To do this the phone plan needs to have plenty of hotspot data. Just having unlimited data doesn't apply to hotspot data at least with ATT and Verizon.

I've had to use my phone as a hotspot and it gets really hot after about 4 hours of using a lot of data. It's an option for me but only in a pinch. To me phones aren't designed or built to be used as a hotspot for extended periods.

I recall reading that "hotspot" uses data very quickly. An alternative is to use a "mirroring" function on the cell phone (if you have that). I can't vouch for that because my phone does not do it.

Thank you for all of the replies - I am unable to remove the tv from wall mount to access HDMI connection. I will contact my dealer to find out how to pull the tv off of the wall mount.

We did exactly the same with velcro tape. Routing of the power cable with out drilling a hole into the cabinet below where the outlet resulted in a bit of cable just hanging. We need the slack to rotate into the bedroom. Crude but effective.

I have a 2021 White Hawk. There should be a bead chain hanging down behind the right side of the TV. Pull that chain and it should release the swivel mount so that the TV swings out and you can get to the entire back of the TV. There are shelves behind the TV that are great for storing DVDs.
