Thanks all for the info, we’ve decided not to go with the Rocky Mnt package. Jayco’s 2 tank configuration does not seem to be ideal, too many issues for the odd time we will want to carry 80 gals.

probably a good choice

Probably a good choice, saves you a little money also and weight as our Rocky Mountain Edition comes in around 300 lbs heavier because of add ons.

Water leak 212QBW Rocky Mountain

Just arrived on day one at Scotch Creek.
Leak from fresh water started after filling the fresh water tank.
Cut a small square on the underbelly and the water is dripping about 1 gallon per hour
It’s under warranty, but I can’t leave it like that for 2 weeks camping.
I’m thinking of cutting a large hole to see if I can stop the leak.
Does anyone know the exact layout or know of a resource that I can look it up?

I cut a larger hole on right side behind the axel.
Found the insulation under the the forward water tank was saturated with water. Had to pull all that out. Eventually found ya hole in the hose that is between the tanks. It appears that the hole was caused by a screw from the factory that attached the stove gas line to the underbelly. The screw must have over time with jiggling of the trailer made a hole in the hose.
It was difficult to find and to get at. But in the end we used a hose clamp with some duct tape on the inside, plus a soft ear plug to fill in any gaps by the hole.
Now will at least be able to use fresh water for the rest of our vacation.
