212QBW versus 22FQSW

I need some advice.....

We were quoted 12.9k on a 2017 212QBW here in DFW. We were also looking at the 2017 22FQSW but the best i could get was 20.9.

1. Is 12.9 a good price for the 212QBW?

2. Is 8k REALLY worth the difference on the 22FQSW?

Am i getting decent pricing? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.....

What is the MSRP of the units? Is that the out the door price with any/all fees, taxes, tags, etc?

I would price the units from other dealers including online quotes. Price those units online with RV One. This will help you determine what kind of deal your getting.

The 212QBW MSRP is 18.5k.

The 22FQSW MSRP is 25.9k.

Whats the real difference is quality, build and finish out?

Those MSRP's don't look right. Going from Jayco's website the 22FQSW is $22,526 and the 212QBW is $19,152. I know options can change but the price gap isn't as big as your dealer has it.

2017 Jay Feather 22FQSW | Jayco, Inc.
2017 Jay Flight SLX 212QBW | Jayco, Inc.

A typical rule of thumb is that you should be paying 70-80% of MSRP. So yes the QBW price is a good one but the FQSW is not a good price and you may be able to get that one down a bit more.

Personally I like the layout of the 22FQSW a lot more. The other one looks pretty cramped.
