23MRB Close To Buying Late in 2018

First time posting here. We have a 2017 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado DC 4x4 Z-71 with 3.08 gears towing package.
We are former Diesel Pusher owners. Sold everything to give up RV'in all together. But decided we love RV'in and to much (After we bought our truck) So

We fell in love with the 23MRB, I just wanted to touch bases with other Jayco owners and get their opinion and suggestions.

Please do NOT suggest I get a bigger truck cause it ain't gonna happen.

Thank You for your time LeeB

You will have no problems with that tow vehicle. We have the 2017 version and absolutely love it. I like the new layout.

Thanks for the posting , I have to ask has there been any problem's with your trailers?

Like I said I am learning the towing world, I know I have to get a WDH any recommendations size and style? I also understand I will be needing a monitor for inside the cab of my truck, and recommendations on that? Plus any other things I should be on the look for?

Thanks so much LeeB

I have had the trailer in for work a couple of times. Once to adjust the slide out and one other time for some very minor issues. Other than that it has been trouble free. I have a Husky centerline wdh that the dealer installed for me. I have been very impressed but itís the only hitch I have ever had so I canít compare it. I have towed through some pretty steep grades and through a pretty good thunderstorm with no sway issues. I definitely know itís back there because my tow vehicle is working at the upper end of its limits but I have never felt unsafe.

I also have the Husky centerline WDH, no issues. Have had no major issues with the trailer, we love it. Remember when towing, its not a race!

Smurf, very true. I learned to slow down and keep around 60 to 65. I actually enjoy getting there. All part of the adventure.
