23RLSW - Everything Seems To Work!

Just returned from the initial outing with our new Jay Feather 23RLSW. Good weekend, and everything seems to work: Refrigerator/freezer, furnace, stove, oven, slide-out, awning, lights (electrical system), plumbing, black tank flush, entertainment center, water heater.

One minor issue that I thought I fixed, but may still need to work on: Discovered a small drip under the bathroom vanity, thought it was a loose faucet fitting. Ooops, found some water in the vanity this am while getting ready to pull out. Like I said, need to investigate this one further.

Very happy, getting ready for Memorial Day week, followed quickly by 10 days in Maine. Yay!

Roger

Great to hear everything worked as designed! I guess that means you had nothing to putter with all weekend? More time to do what you went there to do---have fun!

Although I do have a question. I know I found a thermostat reference somewhere that says when the fan is set to Auto, it will run when the furnace kicks in. But it was not in the 23RLSW manual, although it was a piece of Jayco documentation. From my viewpoint it would be great if it worked that way - the furnace has no ducting, and blows hot air directly into the main cabin. If the roof-mounted AC fan would run automatically when the furnace runs, it would circulate warm air to the bedroom and bath. That would be a good thing!

Any thoughts or suggestions, anyone?

Thanks,

Roger

I had two leaky drain coupler under the kitchen sink and in the vanity the first time out. Easy fix... Just a couple twists of the hand and no more leaks!
