24rl Acceptable Slide alignment?

So the Wife and I are looking at a used 2020 24RL. We have had smaller trailers, but no experience with a slide. When the slide was retracted, we noticed the front side of the slide stopped about a half inch from the camper body while the rear was basically flush to the body. Is this acceptable?

The private owner said he had it adjusted once, and what we were seeing was "normal". There was also some broken trim on the inside, and I am suspicious it was further misaligned at some point. When the slide retracted, it seemed smooth and we did not notice any strange sounds.

Any advice? Otherwise the camper seems to be in almost perfect condition, but I have no experience with slides.

I don't know what is normal for that unit. Mine has a slight tip to it. Never had any issues. I also have a little bit of pulled trim. I only see it if I am really looking for it.

FYI, the warranty is NOT transferable.

Personally if you like it. You should convince them to bring it in to have it looked at as part of the sales agreement. If they own still own it, it is covered.
