25BH Outside Speakers Not Working

Some of You may remember me. We used to be connected to this forum. We have a new 25BH with the Furrion stereo. There is zone 1 and zone 2. Zone 1 controls the living room speakers. Zone 2 is the bedroom speakers. There is outside speakers but they will not come on.... there is no fade control on the stereo. Any ideas? BTW there is no outside light besides the awning LED strip light. Do these things put out any light at night?

Is there a separate button near, but not on, the radio that says inside/outside? That controls outside speakers.

Just looked at the 360 view on jayco website. You're right, I don't see it either, but that's the same radio I have, so I would think that switch is there somewhere. You looked in all those cabinets in the entertainment center?

A-B button on remote control? Does EQ button bring up an option for fade? If not, I'm out of ideas. Hopefully another 25BH owner will be along soon.

Our 25bh has the switch in the bedroom on the wall where the sliding doors are located.

What year is your 25BH, I know you said it's new but is it a 16, 17, 18? Did the outside speakers ever work? Are they on the outside wall of the TT or built into the awning posts?

We have what appears to be the same radio in our 2016 Jay Flight 26BH. If you click the large round knob by pressing on it momentarily, it will bring up the audio controls, each press of the knob will cycle through the options, such as bass, treble, balance, etc. I don't recall a fade but you can try this out. To adjust each setting you rotate the knob.

There is only 4 screws that hold the radio in. The bottom front plate pops off and the screws are exposed. Maybe the outside speakers were never plugged in to the back of the radio?

As far as the LED strip in the awning, they are very bright. Almost too bright.

My 2017 has a rocker switch in the bedroom side of the wall. It is on the side where the entry door is. You would have to close the sliding door on that side to get to it because with the door open it is covered up and it is at about the height of the bed. I sleep on that side and being 6'4" I can easily hit it with my foot. With the rocker switch in one position it activates the speakers in the bedroom. With it in the other position it shifts the sound to the outside speakers.

On the outside lights there are actually two lights. There is the LED strip under the awning. Then there is the hidden light that my saleslady didn't know about. I had asked where the switch is for the amber light in the foot step well that illuminates the stairs. She said there wasn't a light down there and I pointed it out. It is on the same switch as the LED strip light under the awning. I am planning on changing it out so I have a separate switch for this. As others mentioned the LED strip light is pretty bright. I want to get a dimmer for that and like I said split off the step light. This way I can just run that. Many times when we are dry camping a little light is all we need to get back to the steps. While the LEDs don't draw a lot it is way more light than I want. Where we dry camp we have lots of kids in an area with my Wife's family and many times the kids go to bed a lot earlier than the adults. Well so does my wife and I am normally one of the last ones to bed and the first ones up. So I am stumbling up the steps.

I have a 2017 25BH. One of the zones are for inside speakers and the other zone is for outside speakers. There is a switch in the bedroom to turn the speakers on/off for the bedroom. It is behind the sliding bedroom door.

On our 2017 28RLS the Zone 1 Zone 2 buttons on the Furrion radio operate/select the speakers. Z1 is inside Z2 is outside.

There are 2 zones shown on the stereo face, and a button on the framework that supports the Tv on the bedroom side our 25bh ( it's on the wood frame work below the tv and says inside and outside) We had to select zone 2 on the stereo face then switch that button to exterior

I have a 2017 Jayflight 28RLS. I have the same Furrion Radio DVD/CD player. My zone 2 is for my outside speakers which are in the Solara power awning. Have you checked the speaker connections at the back of the unit? Also check the speaker wire connections at the awning.
