Hello Guys,

Do you guys know if it is ok leave the electric heater on for the weekend? Or it is safer turn in off always after using?

Thank you!

I would think as long as you are in the RV it should be fine but I would not leave it on while the RV is unattended. Possible fire hazard.

If I don't get a chance to winterize, I blow out the water and then put an electric heater in the bathroom with all cabinet doors open.

If the heater is considered safe to sleep with, surely it is on to leave it on while you are gone.

When camping in cool weather, we always use electric heat. Our AC unit has a 6000 BTU electric heat strip ( not a heat pump). We also have a 1500 watt ceramic heater we place on top of our stove. We will leave them on when we are away for the day.

Take note, if you have a heated underbelly, only the propane furnace delivers heat down there.
