264bh Locking Fresh Water Cap

Iíve got a 2021 264bh. Was wondering if anyone had replaced the fresh water cap with a locking one on this model? Thank you.

We have a 2019 Jayco 264BHW and I just replaced the standard filler cap with a locking fresh water cap. Bought it on Amazon for $23 and installed last week. I used "Lexel" to seal it and installation was fairly easy.

Thanks for the reply. The measurements on that one seem to be about 10mm less than mine. Was your old one a bit bigger also? Did that cause any issues?

Yes the old FW cap was a bit bigger but installing the new cap didn't present any problems. I couldn't use the old mounting screw holes so just drilled new ones and filled the old screw holes with sealant. I used lots of clear "Lexel" to seal the whole locking cap and I am very confident that there will not be any unwanted water incursion.

I hadnít even thought about it until someone mentioned it in another thread. Like someone could do something to your fresh water supply easily for whatever reason. Got me to thinking is all.
