264BHW Fresh Water Tanks
We have a Jayco 264BHW Rocky Mountain edition with (2) 42 gallon fresh water tanks for a total of 84 gals. Question I have is when filling the tanks with fresh water, do they fill simultaneously, or does 1 tank fill first then spills over to the 2nd tank?

They should be tied together. Filling one will fill them both.

Hi Norty1, I know that filling 1 fills both, but wondering in the order they are filled. Simultaneously, or first 1 then the 2nd.

I don't know precisely but the tube that ties them together should be at the bottom of the tank so they would seem to be filled at the same time but I don't have first hand knowledge. There are some threads on JOF that I or some other members may know of. Hopefully some others will chime in.

We have the same twin tanks, and I've checked out the underside plumbing since there's no coroplast covering the underside. the very first time I filled them, I stopped when the monitor panel said full. Sensors are only on the front tank. 10 minutes later, it didn't read full, and nothing was leaking on the ground.
The tanks are siamesed with a section of 1 1/4" hose exactly like the fill hose. However, the vents are only 1/2"od tubes, so water can fill faster than the air it's replacing can escape. Don't turn the hose on full blast so the rear tank has a chance to fill. After you're done filling, them check them again after a few minutes to verify they're still full. The rear one may have taken some more into it.
