We got a Centerline TS WDH. We were going to do the Equalizer but after looking at them they were essentially the same design and I liked the little pegs on the Centerline that held the bars in place as you were hooking it up. That's a nice design idea. Plus it was about $200 cheaper and although it's rated for less weight it's enough for our trailer.

What's a 2.5" shank?

I have read some good things about the CL. After towing for a while let let us know how it is working.

The shank is the part that slides into the truck receiver hitch, and the hitch head bolts to.

Congratulations of your setup choice!!! We really like our 264BHW, but normally only two of us, cook outside cause we like to, etc. So room in not a problem unless we bring 3 or 4 of our small grandchildren, then space can be an issue if weather bad and everyone wants to watch a movie...

We chose the 287BHSW strictly for the larger shower. Other than that, the other BH floor plans were primarily all the same give or take some storage areas and total weight. We liked the 28BHBE but for the price difference it made more sens for us to go with the 287BHSW. They are identical floor plans with the exception being upgraded interior on the 28BHBE.

Our TV is a 2000 F250 6.8L V10 gasser with max towing capacity of 11000 lbs and use the BlueOx Sway Pro 1000

The shower is bigger than the one at home!

I just purchased the 2016 287bhsw last week and camping in it now .I'm a little shocked at those prices. I paid $19,995 with pdi plus tax title lic. They even matched a dealers price in new your for me (I live in WA state). We looked at both and the 287 had a lot more room. it also had the large dinette that will make a beef big enough for an adult .The small dinette is too short .
As far as towing with a f150 I don't know .I've had f150s and they were not a pulling power house. I've got a ram 3500 with a Cummins and this 287 works it. It pulls fine, but when going up steep hills and turns in the hills, you can feel it.
