266rks 256rks Fridge Slides

Hi everyone:

We're first time wanna be's and seriously looking at these Eagle Superlite models, because of TV rating: 2002 Silverado 2500HD LB Ext Auto 4x4 6.0 4.10

Looking at both floorplans(which Seem almost identical save showers) I see a Fridge, next to sofa. Having the Fridge weight on a slide, does not cause a problem, or are we just paranoid. Thanks anmd very nice site!

We have a 25RKS and it has the big slide with Fridge, Sofa & Wardrobe have not had a problem as yet with that much stuff on slide just figured they built it to handle the weight. And wife loves the open space when slide is out, she saw this trailer and the looking was over she new what she wanted.

We also have the 25RKS and love it. As for towing the TT we used an equalizer hitch rated for the TT. It was recommended and installed by the dealer. We tow with a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L six speed transmission, two wheel drive which includes the towing package. The only thing we added was the extanded tow mirrors. We have towed the TT through major cities and highways with no trouble, most of the time I forget I have the TT behind the truck until I look down and see the fuel consumption - **** them computers!!!!!

No probs with ours so far, I would get the 266rks today instead of the 256 just because of the shower instead of the tub and bigger bathroom, but love our trailer just got home from a week away in it.
