267BHS towing

Just curious what other 267BHS owners are towing theirs with and how it pulls.

Vehicle and hitch please. Even info on a similar camper would be fantastic.
Thanks everyone!

Jenoble99, what hitch are you using and do you get any sway?

I pull mine with a F350 diesel. I started with a 1500, but have hills all around and was too much for my 5.3L. Now my trailer is too small!

I am mainly interested in the ability to tow this camper with a 1/2 ton pickup. Who's doing it, with what truck and hitch, and how well it pulls. I am not concerned so much with power as I am in terms of safety and control and if the camper sways.

I tow a 26BH which is only about 300# light dry weight, same GVW but I can hold 90 gallons of fresh water and we run close to full most times. I pull with my Tundra but upgraded to a Propride 3P hitch because the basic round bar WDH I had didn't control sway. The truck pulls the weight easily and the hitch eliminates all sway. I have NO safety fears now even in the event of a blowout. The problem I have now is keeping the speeds down to conserve fuel. The trailer and truck behave so well attached to each other I really have to watch my speed as I creep up towards 65 pretty quick on 55 mph roads.

I am towing a 28BHS with a 2008 4x4 5.7 Durango. I had the 10,000 lbs Equalizer and moved to the Hensley Arrow due trailer sway. I have yet to experience any sway since installing the HA.

I did pull a 26BH (very similar weight and same length) with a '04 Silverado and '04 Tahoe. Neither had any issue with sway, Tahoe was very close on cargo capacity. Both were 5.3L 3.73 4 speed, the 4 speed was my issue in the mountains. Slow mountain roads were brutal on the transmissions. I upgraded TV to get a 6 speed, although I could have gotten away with another gasser 1/2 ton I decided to prepare for the next upgrade and ended up with the 3/4 Duramax.

By the way I have used the Husky Centerline hitch with each TV. It's a great hitch.
