What year is yours? The current Jayco website doesn't have a 26RKS with bunks. Where were they located?

Also, what is the weight of the 26RKS with that configuration?

The 26RKS is on the Jayco Web site. See this link - http://www.jayco.com/products/travel...oorplans-specs

You can also download the brochure from the site for both 2012 and 2013.

We are seriously considering the 28BHS. The kitchen is very large and out of the path for underfoot child traffic. Personally, there would be no way our family could do the 26BH. The layout is very choppy and with kids on a rainy day, we would all go nuts being on top of each other. The 28BHS allows for the living area to be a little more roomy. Just our families opinion.

We chose the 29bhs G2 (pretty much the current 28bhs model) over the 26' mainly because DH and I want counter space for dirty dishes, walkie talkie charging/storage, DH's work space (he makes the perfect chef!). Although we mainly travel with the tt, we have grandkids so needed a bunkhouse. Because of this, we knew we needed extra space that the slide provided.

The current 28 model will provide more counter space over the 26 and have more 'people space' if you have more than two people. Pretty much what it boils down to for us. Hope this help

(fyi---we grew another "grandkid" since we purchased our current tt... we are now looking at a quad bunk set-up)

Go with the larger TT w/slides. More room=more comfort.

26RKS (rear kitchen slide)

You might want to contact Jayco direct and ask if the rks can be modified to add a bunk
