27 DSRL scissor jack install

We've had our new 2016 27DSRL for a couple of months now and have electric stabilizers on it which we ordered when we bought it. As mentioned in other threads on the forum, the electric stabilizers are not good for much, to put it politely. (oh, and I am also using X chocks) So, I purchased a set of BAL scissor stabilizers and set them just ahead of the axles, which help tremendously.
Here is my question......the instructions call for drilling four holes (on each side) in the bottom of the frame on my TT to secure the stabilizers. Will I be OK doing so or should I have concerns of weakening the frame in that spot.
I contacted Jayco and questioned them, but they seem to not be able to answer such a simple question without knowing my VIN number. Trouble is, I'm always at work without that information.
