Thanks to everyone for their input and advice, after some tape measure testing, the advice I got from this great forum and watching videos on backing in some big campers I believe I can get it in my storage spot at the house (at least lets hope so ). I was planning to move my gate forward a few feet in the future but #1 Good thing I did not already do it and #2 not gonna happen now, which is OK.

We placed an order yesterday for a 2016 28BHBE and we have already started planning next years camping trips

Update...

I wanted to update this thread and Thank everyone again for their help with all my questions, without your help I could not have made the right decision. In the end we ordered the 28BHBE and I was successful in parking it at my house this past weekend, here are some photos to show where I had to put it.

I did not even have to roll up into my neighbors yard across the street, although I was given permission to do so. Can't say I will always hit it the 1st time but got it lined up on my my 1st Shot this time...

I also live on a dead end street (small tight town road) and to make matters sweeter my neighbors mailbox is right across from my driveway. My town road is approx 24' wide and my driveway is approx 42' long but if I line everything up correctly and there are no prevailing winds I can usually get it in on the first shot however I'm a little OCD about the trailer being straight with the edge of driveway. The upside of being on a dead end street NOT A LOT OF TRAFFIC so if I have to pull forward and line it up so be it ! I was more concerned about taking my mailbox out exiting the driveway over anything from the the tailspin, thankfully that hasn't happened. I think you could see where I park my 28BHBE in my driveway and have just enough room for my truck in front of it.... right behind my truck is my mailbox.

Wow, fits like a glove in there! Good job, and your setup looks great!

Wish I had a little cubby like that to tuck mine out of the way.

Also, I see your AC units are black. That must come with the dual AC upgrade? Our single unit is white.

I ordered it with Black Shrouds, I asked if they could do it and Jayco said Yes. They installed Black Shrouds on the AC's, Fridge Vent, Plumping Vent Cap and Black Tinted Bathroom Skylight (I Deleted the Kitchen Skylight) and Bath Vent.

Only thing that is white is the TV antenna, I may replace the stock one with a Black Unidirectional type later on.

I like the looks better in Black since all the other trim is Black plus no Swooshy graphics!

I hear you... I'm the same way, I have to have it in there "just right"... drives my wife nuts so I will park it by myself half the time once I get used to it

I find it easier to back up a 55 foot semi trailer and my 28 BHBE than to back up my dad's 10 foot long utility trailer. ☺
