28BHBE EMS install location?

Anyone with a 28BHBE installed a hard wired EMS, if so, where? I found one thread on this were the EMS was installed next to some water lines in the rear storage. I don't want to lay prone for 2 hours trying to install this...are they alternate locations where the round conduit is accessible?

When I had my 28BHBE I just crawled into the rear storage under the bottom bunk and replaced the junction box on the floor with the EMS. I tried the put it behind the power / Load center but couldn't make it fit. It only took about 20 minutes of being under the bottom bunk to get it done. It actually might have been my post that you found...

The only other place would be to install it behind the converter where the power comes in. Only problem is you would have to remove it if any issue comes up or when you want to check all the connections.

There doesn’t look like there’s much room to operate in that area. Was your junction box just underneath the water heater outlet lines?

Yes it was so what I did was mount the EMS on the back wall of the square cubby that housed the shore power cord. That worked fine. I did check with Progressive's customer service to make sure it was OK to mount vertical. I later dismantled that cubby when I went to a detachable power cord. Then I moved the EMS to the floor for a little easier access.

I did pull my load center out looking to mount it somewhere behind it but there was no way I was going to be able to pull that off.
