29BHS smell from black tank under bathroom sink?

Not sure why, but the small cabinet under the bathroom sink STINKS (smells bad)!! Anyone else have this issue?

Actually, YES!

Just noticed the same thing this weekend in our 32BHDS while cleaning the bathroom. Although, I'm not convinced that it was coming from black tank, but it could be.

I don't know if it has one but you might look and see if there is a mechanical vent on that drain. We had one on a kitchen sink loose it's seal once and had a bad smell.

We have the mechanical vent under the bathroom sink.

What exactly is a mechanical vent on a drain, and do you have a picture?

The article explains it and the picture above shows it. The vent is on the black pipe at the top.
