29RLDS? Rear camera help

We have a 2019 20RLDS that is rear camera ready. Well, after hooking up the camera, there is no power getting to the rear camera. Jayco keeps saying there should be a switch in the front cabinet. No switch. They even sent me the schematics, which haven't helped.

Does anyone else have a 29RLDS and get their camera to work??

Thanks

Most times you need to have TV hooked up, at least the 7 pin plug and then turn on the TV's running lights/headlights for the backup/observation cameras to get power and function.

Thanks jimp. We've tried that and every combination Jayco suggested, but no go. Jayco says there is a switch that bypasses the TV so you can use your camera as a "monitor" and plug it into the 12v plug in the bedroom, which doesn't work either. Jayco keeps saying there is a switch, but we can't find it anywhere.

Guess Jayco needs to tell you where the switch is then. Does your rear camera work while going down the road???

The one on our 5er needs to have at least the marker lights on to run the camera. No lights no camera.

No. We've tried every combination possible. Never gets power.

I second that. Running lights must be on.

What model/brand rear camera do you have? Have you tested the connection points on the rear wall where the camera attaches??

I found when installing my Furrion camera the plug was a little difficult to get a good seating into the camera. Have you ensured that the plug is all the way in, I had to put quite a bit of force into it.

I have a 28RLS and a camera powered by the prewired set-up for the Furrion system (Yuwei rear observation system). The trailer running lights have to be on to get power to the camera. If your trailer running lights are on then there should be power to the camera.

I don't know what camera system you have but with the system I have (can support multiple cameras) the camera and monitor have to be synced.
