A, B, C stereo buttons

I have 3 speaker buttons on my iRV stereo/DVD player and I am trying to find out how they work. I know C is for outside, but A and B are weird. If I hit A only all the speakers inside turn off. They only work if both A and B are on or if B only is on. Why is that and is there not a way to turn the bedroom speakers off while the main cabin speakers stay on??

Thanks!

My "C" button works the outside speakers like yours. My "A" button works the speakers in the front half of the trailer and the "B" button works the speakers in the back half. I have the 26BH. I don't know why yours work the way you stated.

Yep, that's the way mine works. You'll want to pull it out and check the connections. While in there, if you want to, you can run an hdmi cable up to your tv and a coaxial cable from tv audio output back to the stereo. This gives you the best sound from dvds and also lets you run antenna tvback through the rv speakers.

Sweet, thanks for the tip, wondered why this was not set up at the factory.

I power down the TT between runs.

When you power back up, all three are defaulted to ON. When you forget to un select outside, (C) and start up a movie inside, you forget that you are blasting audio outside as well.

Sounds like you take a look at the back connections or it's dealer time to fix it. You might consider cosmik's advice and run the cables he suggested. It really will make a difference when you play a dvd. Good luck.

What speakers are controlled by the B & C buttons depends on how many speakers are inside and how big your trailer is. We only have two inside speakers so "B" does nothing for us because its not connected to anything. Multiple buttons can be turned on. If I turn on both A & C both inside and outside speakers will be on at the same time.

It sounds to me like your A button isn't connected to anything. The unit is only secured with 4 screws and slides out easily. The speaker connections are all RCA connectors so you'll be able to quickly determine is anything is connected to A or not.

It is such a rats nest back there. I have 4 speakers inside. 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living area.

Are there RCA connectors on all 3 speaker jacks on the back of the unit? They are labeled Left/Right A,B,C.

I don't have a,b,c RCA jack spots. I have 2 of each yellow, red, and white. They are labeled as input 1and 2. There is also the cable input for the antenna.

All the other wires are coming from the fuse location.
