A/C fan and furnaces at the same time???

Can this be done? I want the AC Fan to run while my furnace is running to help circulate the air and the noise of the fan blocks out a lot of the campground noise. (I work night shift). Any ideas??? I have a coleman mack 8330-338 thermostat that has the separate fan Auto/On switch but the fan turns off as soon as i turn the heat on.

Apparently it is possible with the dometic stats. There has been some people stating that is the case with the fan in on position. I can't say for certain but the Coleman may have a feature to prevent that.

Yep, either fan, fan & a/c. No fan and heat.

The only thing that the propane heater and the a/c unit have in common is the Coleman thermostat unit. I don't know for certain, but I doubt there's an easy way to modify the current thermostat unit to allow both the a/c and heater fan to operate at the same time. However, it probably wouldn't take much to install a 2nd Coleman thermostat to allow independent operation of the a/c. Just a matter of removing the a/c unit control wires from the current thermostat and reconnecting them to a 2nd thermostat---leaving the heater control wires in place with the current thermostat.

Or a secondary switch for the fan. Single pole double throw toggle switch would accomplish what you want to do. However it would only control either high or low fan not both.

Yes that will work . Any thermostat that is battery powered will work. Google it lots of videos out there.
