A couple of 2013 26 RLS issue

Hi All,

We've done a couple of weeks in the trailer and have run about 500 miles so far. We love this trailer but I have had a couple of issues.

First, there was a water leak in the lower bedroom closet that houses the back side of outside shower box and black tank sprayer. Fortunately, the problem was NOT with the black tank! LOL The threaded joints of the shower lines were not tight. A little twist on each and no more leak. (You might want to check your water pipe.)

The other problem was with the rear door. The screw that holds the striker side bottom plate of the door was installed so low that it dug into the door saddle and prevented the lower part of the door from closing all the way. I took the screw out and contemplated installing it a bit higher but decided to re-install it in the original hole and take a file to the screw head. After shaving the bottom of the screw head down a bit the door closes great.

So far, that is it. We love the floor plan, comfort, spacious and airy feeling of this trailer.

Hector

Thank you. We are coming from a 23B. We really loved the open feel of the hybrid 23B and did not want to give that up. My wife wanted a fixed bedroom, a bigger shower and to move away from the "canvas" ends but I did not want to have to to drag 1/2 a house behind me. We feel that the 26 RLS floor plan fills our needs. All the windows make the living space feel much bigger than it is and everything has an "upgrade" feel to it.

I haven't tried to post pictures yet but here is a link to a YouTube video which will give you the layout:
