AC BTUs

How can I confirm which version of the AC I have? It says Coleman Mach on the bottom. Is that the 13.5K or 15K BTU version?

Edit: and the included manual is for a completely different brand

Many thanks

D

Do you have the model/serial number on the unit?

I do not; I suppose a better way to ask my question, is how/where can I find that information? Didn't see anything on outside of unit, and not seeing obvious way to remove cover (inside.)

It's under the outside cover. Like a 48208 or 48204 number...or something similar

Remove the air intake grill and filter and there's usually a sticker with the model number.

Standard height model numbers are under the cover on the drivers side. Low profile units are top of the evaporator cover.

Thanks for the suggestion but I didn't see anything after removing both intake covers.

Does your manual say AirXcel on it??

This is the right manual for the 'Mach' line. In my case, they put the model number and serial number on a sticker and stuck it to the back of the manual. Alas, I have the 13.5BTU model... but it works fine in Colorado.

You could also call Jayco support with your VIN number and they will confirm what was built (assuming the dealer didn't change it down stream)

Interesting. Every one I've ever had there was a sticker behind the filter up near the evaporator coil. you really have to look up inside the unit. I just went out and looked at mine. If no sticker in there then you will have to go on the roof and remove the outside shroud.
