AC Grill Vents

Does anyone else have problems keeping these things in the open position. It seems that when I open them, they want to close by themselves due to the air flowing through them. Is there a trick to keeping them open? I tried pushing a little hard thinking that maybe something snaps into place to keep them open but no luck... Maybe I'm missing something simple Thanks.

I have one that won't stay open, so I wedge a Pop tab from a can and now it's permanently open.

Mine stay put and we use them a lot. Try a small tie wrap thru one hole if you want them open.

I used a clothespin to temporarily keep one open until I could replace it.
